Upper airway suction catheters are used as suction drains in patients with tracheal tubes. Each catheter that is attached to the suction pump has rounded edges that reduce the risk of irritation when inserting it into the body cavity, each catheter also has a special tip with two holes that allow proper suction without the possibility of blocking the catheter.
