What is an Inhalation?
Inhalation – a therapeutic procedure consisting in inhaling vapors of mineral waters, drug solutions or their aerosols. It is performed with a special device (inhaler) or nebulizer, or by inhaling vapors of boiling liquid. For inhalation, medications are used that relax the bronchial tree. They help with expectoration of secretions, have anti-inflammatory properties and antibiotics. Inhalations are most often used in bronchial asthma, acute and chronic inflammation of the respiratory tract.
